The Sliding Padeye

Entwistle designed and developed the only fully cantilevered retractable Sliding Padeye for the CG47 Class cruisers. Newer models are being installed on the DDG51 Class ships and the LPD17 Class ships. The retractable Sliding Padeye does not use backstays and is very simple to erect and retract.
