A major
challenge of the TMD spin tail program was the requirement
for high-rate, efficient production of these very complex
assemblies. This challenge was met by innovative machining,
fabrication, and assembly processes, which resulted
in a maximum production rate of over 1000 spin tail
assemblies per month.

Spin tails were made for both CEM prime contractors,
Honeywell and Aerojet. Honeywell gave special recognition
to Lockley for "Quality Excellence of Products...
achieving 100 percent lot acceptance, top delivery
performance, and demonstrated team responsiveness." |
